Welcome!
My name is Susanne and as a Germanist, certified DaF/DaZ teacher and native speaker I offer professional, individual and lively concepts for discovering and actively using German.
About me
Even as a child, I loved reading and immersing myself in stories, as well as formulating and writing them myself.
During my German studies, I was able to intensively explore my great passion for the German language.
During my work in the field of cultural tourism project management and working for a foundation, I was always able to engage with the language and actively use and shape it for PR, web content and communication.
After gaining extensive professional experience in the fields of event management, research funding and cultural tourism, I wanted to be more directly involved with the German language again.
The path to becoming a DaF/DaZ teacher turned out to be just right for me. In a small, culturally and artistically oriented language school in Bochum, I was able to gain the necessary initial teaching experience in a very friendly team. At the same time, I also wanted to build a solid foundation of essential teaching skills, which is why I completed a twelve-month online training course at the Goethe-Institut.
As a result, I also received approval from the BAMF to teach integration courses.
For effective learning, I consider individual lessons and learning in small groups to be useful.
Language is the key to integration and it is important to me to take away the fear of the German language and dealing with cultural differences.
My offer
German in companies
In small groups or in individual lessons, we agree together on the goals to be achieved.
The courses take place in-house during working hours.
We talk and write about professional topics and read and listen to current articles and podcasts.
For example, we practise conversation in meetings and on the phone, present projects and write emails and job applications.

Invoices will be issued at the end of the month on presentation of the signed timesheets from the learners.
Online courses
People from all over the world can learn German with me online. Whether it's the basics for travelling to a German-speaking country or preparing for university or a job: at all levels, we can discover together how wonderful it is to be able to speak, write, understand and actively use German.
